We are Amy and Simon, a husband and wife team based in Dorchester, united by a shared passion for property and community. With over 18 years of hands-on experience as landlords, we have encountered both challenges and successes in our journey. From difficult tenants and a damaged house to supporting long-term residents, our experiences have shaped the way we work. One of our proudest moments was providing a home to a vulnerable person in need, proving that property can be both rewarding and impactful.
Over the years, we have owned and managed a small portfolio of Buy-to-Let properties and have gained valuable insight through practical experience. Our approach is grounded in real-world learning, with a focus on people, resilience, and long-term value.
We are now looking to connect with like-minded investors who are interested in fully funding or entering into joint venture partnerships on high-potential projects we have sourced in Dorset and the surrounding areas. Our Purpose Beyond Property
At the heart of this business is our family. We founded Dorcastle Property Services to create a better future for our loved ones and to build something that we hope they can be part of in the years to come.
But our purpose goes beyond our own journey. As parents of a daughter who experienced epilepsy in early childhood and now lives with learning difficulties, we’ve seen first-hand how vital the right support can be. Unfortunately, many schools lack the resources to provide essential assessments for Special Educational Needs (SEN), including dyslexia testing.
We want to change that. Our aim is to use the success of this business to give back to our local community by funding access to these assessments for children in Dorchester and the surrounding areas—helping ensure they receive the support they deserve, as early as possible.
We’ve already raised hundreds of pounds for Epilepsy Action through obstacle course races and ultra marathons, and we’re passionate about continuing to support causes that have made a real difference in our lives. With every project we take on, we’re not only building financial returns—we’re working to create positive change
